Arunachal: Former APSMPB Vice Chairman Soni Degio Passes away

Former Arunachal Pradesh State Medicinal Plant Board (APSMPB) Vice Chairman Soni Degio passed away this morning at around 1 AM.
Degio son of Late Achung Degio was born in 1970 at Pichang village in Bana Circle of in East Kameng district. He breathed his last at Bhalukpong due to cardiac arrest at an age of 48 years.
Degio was associated with several social welfare activities in Bhalukpong area in particular and West Kameng district in general.
He was earlier associated with the Congress party for more than 20 years and served as PCC secretary and as general Secretary of Degio Welfare Society (DWS).
In a condolence message Aka Welfare Society Bana (East Kameng district) have condole the premature death of its advisor who have been serving the society for its development and upliftment. The NGO have prayed for eternal peace of departed of soul to rest in heavenly abode.
Another message received from Degio welfare society (DWS) have condole the death it General Secretary and senior member of clan.
Former ASM and local youth leader of Bhalukpong Jeevan Yame while condoling the death of Soni Degio and said it will take lots of time to fill the gap of his community leader who passed away. Terming his gap as a loss in the field of community development and social upliftment.
