Two minor girls, aged 8 years, were alleged to have been sexually assaulted in Naharlagun

In an another incident of assault on minor girl in capital complex, the capital police have claimed to arrested one allege accused in connection with sexually assaulting of two minor girl from Naharlagun township today.
SP Capital M Harsha Vardhan informed that Information was received at Naharlagun PS regarding sexual assault on 2 girls of aged around 8 years. Police immediately swung into action and caught the accused.
Accused has been identified as Nabam Guma, 30 years. He used to stay in the same colony as the victims. The accused took the victims to a nearby forest area where Incident took place around 9 AM today.
A Case has been registered at Woman PS Itanagar vide case no-89/18 u/s 363, 323,34 IPC and 6 POCSO Act and accused will be produced in court tomorrow.
The accused is married and having three children.
