Pasighat
A 11 year boy got drown in Siang river of Arunachal Pradesh at around 5.15 PM today. He is identified as Geyon Siram, s/o Bakin Siram , resident of Sisen village of under Siang District. The incident occurred at Komlighat.
According to an eye witness, the boy with his elder brother was cleaning their dog on the bank of siang siver. Elder brother was also almost drown but he was saved by people around, but young boy Geyon, a class VI student couldn’t be saved..
Till filling this report body was not recovered but search operation is on. Fire brigade personnel engaged with Rubber boat in search of body of drowned boy.
