Among the 41 young participants from various districts of the state the team has selected top 15 singers for the first elimination round.
The winner of the singing competition will be rewarded with Rs 1Lakh and Rs50, 000, Rs 30,000 first and second runner up. While other will be rewarded with gift hampers as consolation prizes to the rest participants.
Chief guest and guest of honour lauded the organiser for such programme which will encourage the younger generation which shall encourage in promoting of music in state in time to come. Both appeal the organiser to promote out local dialects also.
The elimination round will start from Sunday next at Siddhartha Hall, Organising Chairman Kejum Payeng Cherom informed.
