The Deputy Commissioner Itanagar Capital Complex has urged the denizens of capital complex Itanagar to be alert and prepared for any kind of disasters in view of the approaching monsoon season he has also warned the denizens of the Capital Complex to refrain from earth cutting and if anyone is found carrying out the same, action would be taken against them under relevant sections of law.
He has also requested the residents dwelling nearby riversides and landslide prone areas to move to a safer places or report to concern administrative officers for any queries.
As thunderstorm with heavy rain caused heavy damages to houses, power lines etc and caused road blockade at chimpu, near legi complex, near hotel pujabi dhaba by falling of trees, the DC informed that the District Administration immediately directed all concerned to restore lines , clear all road blockades and directed all admin officers to be alert and verify the actual damage reports and submit it to the DC. He also informed that man and machineries have also been kept ready for any kind of eventualities.
The DDMO Moromi Sonam informed that M/S TK engineering consortium Pvt ltd has been strictly directed by the DC ICC to clear the debris and mud accumulated by landslide immediately on their working areas. She further informed that all the stakeholders have been directed to play their respective roles and responsibilities before, during and after the monsoon. NDRF,Doimukh and SDRF chimpu also have been requested to station their personnel ready in case of any emergencies, informed the DDMO.
