The State BJP Vice President Tamae Phassang who was one of the strong candidate seeking party ticket from Itanagar assembly constituency will now act as Executive Vice president to look after party affairs and election management during the ensuing election period 2019.
This was announced by senior BJP leader and General Secretary Lelong Lingfa at a press briefing held at the state BJP headquarter today wherein several party leaders were present.
Addressing the media Lingfa said that state is going for simultaneous election and candidates for the parliamentary and assembly election have been announced and many of them have filled their nomination forms of their respective constituencies. For effective functioning of the party activities Vice President Tame Phassang name have been approved by the central office, New Delhi and appointment letter have been signed by the state president Tapir Gao.
Newly appointed Executive Vice President Tame Phasang inform that though I have applied for party ticket but denied, even party ticket was denied I will continue to serve the party and people.
When asked about resignation of several party leaders and joining to other party leaders, phassang said it happens during the election and appeal all not to run away from the party.
Regarding circulating several video and audio clipping related to sex against party state chief Tapir Gao, phassang condemn it and termed it as a political conspiracy against the president Tapir Gao who is contesting as MP from 2 Arunachal East Parliamentary constituency. FIR have also been filled and truth will come soon and it will not affect in the election process and mood of the people, supporters and workers. Phassang said.
Several star campaigner will visit the state for campaigning for the party in state soon. We are confidence in the people of state and we are going for win the race. Phassang added.
