Mariyang-Geku sitting MLA who got elected from BJP party ticket in 2014 denied this year and join Janata Dal (United).
Panyang while briefing the media at party office here at Chandranagar said that it was very upsetting for me that who have worked for the party with sincerity and got elected from the same party have denied party ticket and due to which I have joined JD(U).

We were member of super eleven who all were BJP MLA got elected in 2014 and was also secretary of the BJP legislature party and I did my work with out most sincerity and the people of the constituency was happy with my performances. He said.
Blaming the selection committee headed by state BJP president, core group members for denial of his party ticket and said that I will not contest election but will extend his full support to the candidature of the JDU Kanggong Taku and it will be a befitting reply to the BJP there at Mariyang-Geku assembly constituency. Panyang added.
