Defence Secretary G Mohan Kumar Visits the Gajraj Corps

Defence Secretary Shri G Mohan Kumar, IAS visited the GAJRAJ Corps to discuss wide ranging operational issues and infrastructural development projects.
He arrived at Tezpur Air Force Station for a two day visit of the area on 09 Jun 16 and was received by Senior Officers of GAJRAJ Corps and Air Force Station, Tezpur.
The Defence Secretary had a comprehensive discussion with Lt Gen D Anbu, AVSM, SM, VSM GOC GAJRAJ Corps on all aspects pertaining to Army deployed in the area.
A comprehensive briefing on wide ranging aspects was given to the Defence Secretary on 10 Jun 16 by officers of the GAJRAJ Corps. The Defence Secretary accompanied by senior officers from the Ministry of Defence thereafter proceeded to Tawang and forward areas for an aerial survey.
The Defence Secretary gave out his views and decisions on various infrastructural development projects being undertaken by the Army and the Air Force and expressed his satisfaction on the efforts undertaken by all military establishments to pursue the fulfilment of their tasks.
