Arunachal: 45th AYA Birthday Celebration-2019 concludes

The final day of the celebration began with the kickoff of AYA Mini Marathon by Mudang Omo popularly known as the Marathon-Man also an AYA Awardee-2019 followed by flag hosting of AYA Flag at AYA Ground Old Ziro by the AYA President.
Later in the day the first ever triangular friendly football match was played between (TSD) Tanw Supuñ Dukuñ (Apex Council of Apatani) v/s (AYA) Apatani Youth Association (Apex Youth Org. of Apatani) v/s (ASU) Apatani Students’ Union (Apex Students’ Org. of Apatani), after hard fought triangular match TSD Team came out as the champion team. Prior to the start of the match 45th Birthday cake for AYA was cutted by Shri Hage Tado, TSD President.
In the previous day on 18.05.2019, the celebration was conducted at Dree Ground Nago Putu, Biirii where various cultural display was shown and the awards were also conferred on the day to Individuals and NGO’s.
The 45th AYA Birthday Celebration-2019 started with pomp and gaiety on 18th May, 2019. The occasion was graced by Bhaiching Bhutia, the legend of Indian Football.
On this occasion he had an interaction session with the AYA Awardees-2019. The AYA Awards are given to outstanding personalities those who had excelled in their respective fields and brought glory for the society and state as well.
This year AYA Award-2019 were conferred to, in the field of Sports: Mudang Omo (Marathoner), Tailyang Cosy (Footballer), In the field of Discovery : Punyo Chada for discovering Apatani Glory Moth, In the field of Film Industry : Subu Gambo, who is an Actor, Director, Producer and Singer himself and recently he was awarded Best Actor and Best Playback Singer for his film “Oha…e” during Arunachal Film Festival and lastly In the field of Administration : Er. Talo Potom for his bold steps taken for beautification of Capital Complex.
Bhaichung Bhutia did the honour of conferring them the AYA Award-2019 and AYA Commendation certificates were also given by him.
Bhaichung Bhutia in his speech had promised to help and give his any support to all those talented persons from the valley be it in the Sports or any other field.
Bhaichung Bhutia during his speech and during the interaction programme has willingly agreed Apatani Youth Association and CDFC’s Joint Memorandum for admission of most deserving Under-16 young football players of the valley at his Football Schools which is spread across India and he also willed to trial and recruit above-16 talented players in his Sikkim United Football Club, which is the undisputed champion in the state of Sikkim.
