P K Dubey, New IG for BSF Meghalaya Ftr

Mr P K Dubey, has taken over the charge of Inspector General, Border Security Force ( BSF ) , Meghalaya Frontier ( Meghalaya Ftr ) at Shillong on 7thMar’2016. He has come on his permanent posting from New Delhi.
Mr Dubey is a very decorated officer who has been conferred upon “President’s Police Medal for Meritorious Service” (PPMMS) and “President’s Police Medal for Distinguished Service” (PPMDS) besides number of Director General’s commendation rolls. Officer also has experience of serving in prestigious National Security Guard (NSG) as Group commander.
Mr P K Dubey, after taking over charge as IG of Meghalaya Ftr has emphasized on use of technology for effective border management in order to prevent and curb trans-border crimes, maintaining cordial relations with the border population, respecting human rights, and welfare of troops.
It may be mentioned that Meghalaya Frontier is one of the most challenging Frontier of the BSF in view of ongoing turmoil.
