One KLO cadre killed, Two managed to escape in an encounter

One KLO cadre killed and two other managed to escape during a encounter with security forces in Silijan village near kokrajhar, Informed L R Bisnoi, ADGP ( Railway ) and who is also the IGP of BTAD.
Mr Bisnoi informed that, On the basis of secret information, a joint team led by Addl SP (HQ) Kokrajhar consisting of Assam Police and 3 Rajput of Indian Army launched an operation in Charaikhola area near village Siljan under Kokrajhar PS, at around 05.15 AM.
A group of three KLO cadres started firing at the police and army party. In retaliation the police and army also fired and In the ensuing exchange of firing, one person was found injured while the other two managed to escape under forest cover. The injured cadre succumbed to his injuries later on at RNB civil hospital,kokrajhar.
Security Forces recovered one one 7.65 pistol with magazine, three 7.65 live ammo, two 7.65 fired cases, six 7.62 fired cases, one hand grenade no 36, one hand bag, one purse consisting of Pan card, driving license, caste certificate, 2 ATM cards, and cash worth Rs 2127/- from the encounter place
It is ascertained from the ID Card hat the injured person is Mr. Dibakar Barman, @ Jabarjung is the Deputy C-IN-C and chief recruiter of banned kamatapur Liberation Organization.
Operation is continuing to apprehend the other escaped cadres.
