A delegation from Arunachal University of Studies, Namsai led by its Vice Chancellor Prof. V.K. Kawatra called on the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh, PB Acharya at Government Circuit House, Namsai on Saturday last .
Interacting with the University faculty, the Governor advised them carry our research on ways and means to create wealth out of the natural resources of the State. He also suggested them to explore best ways to mitigate drug addiction in the district.
The Governor said that they must ensure that their graduates are job givers and entrepreneurs. Skill development and entrepreneurship must be included in your studies.
Vice Chancellor, briefed the Governor about the University. He informed that it has tied up faculty exchange programmes with Laos and Thailand. It also has special courses for hearing and visual impaired.
