Army, Busted, NDFB(S) Camp, Killed Terrorist

Indian Army Busted a NDFB(S) camp and killed the terrorist killed on Thursday in a Joint Operation with the Assam Police. The killed terrorists has been identified as Birbal Islary @ Banjai S/o Shri Ranjan Islary R/o vill Domgaon PS Runikhata Dist Chirang. He was a Senior cadre of Gossaigaon platoon and a close associate of Bidai.
This hardcore terrorist was killed in a daring raid by the elite Army troops on a NDFB(S) camp in the dense Ripu Reserve Forest in Kokrajhar District. It has been learnt that the terrorist group was planning to use this camp as a base to launch violent attacks on security forces and innocent civilians. The camp was spread out in an area of 100×100 metres and was well stocked to cater for a sustained period. A large quantity of Rations, tent age, blankets, solar panels and other warlike stores were recovered from the camp.
It is pertinent to mention that Banjai was the eyes and ears of Bidai. He was mainly responsible for providing Early Warning to the fugitive Bidai group with regards to movement of Security Forces, provision of logistics and coordination with the link men and over ground workers. In addition he was deeply involved with the killing of innocent Adivasis in December 2014. He was also coordinating the extortion activities of the group.
The elimination of Banjai has brought a sense of relief in the peace loving citizens of the region who are fed up with the mindless violence perpetrated by NDFB(S) and other such terrorist groups.
MTFA Terrorists Apprehended
In a another joint operation of Army and Bongaigaon Police, four armed terrorists of MUSLIM TIGER FORCE OF ASSAM (MTFA), were apprehended, from nearby a shop in the general area, where the individuals were presumably waiting for a vehicle.
The apprehended MTFA terrorists were identified as Ismail Ali, Mohidul Islam, Mouizinur Ahmed and Saiyyuddin Islam. Three Pistols, three mobile phones and other warlike stores were recovered from the apprehended individuals. These individuals have been involved in cases of extortion and kidnapping. This apprehension is a significant step by Army keeping in mind the declaration of results of Assembly Elections round the corner, restricting subversive activities by insurgents and ethnical groups, which are in a lookout to cause a security threat.
