Khandu expressed shock over Fire incidents in West Siang district

Chief Minister Pema Khandu has expressed shock over two different incidents of fire mishap in West Siang district on Tuesday. Extending his solidarity with the victims, CM issued directives for immediate relief to be provided to the aggrieved.
It must be mention Seven dwelling houses, six semi RCC and three OBT barracks were devastated in two separate fire incidents at Ngomdir village and Gaur Hill on Tuesday. Nothing could be save by the victim’s, except themselves.
Six units of semi RCC and three units of OBT barracks that belonged to Department of Hydro Power’ In another fire incident that broke out at Ngomdir village, seven dwelling houses were completely gutted.
Properties worth lakhs of rupees, including Power Tiller, Rice Mills, Motorcycles, and Gun etc were either lost or damaged in the fire.
Meanwhile from the Chief minister office “Necessary instructions have been issued to the department of disaster management to provide adequate relief to the victims”. Chief Minister also directed the district administration to extend all possible assistance to the victims for relief and rehabilitation by taking due care of their needs, ration, food, shelter and safe drinking water.
