In the release, the AAPSU opined that the people of Arunachal Pradesh do not recognise at Mising tribe in the State to interfere in the affairs of the State.
The AAPSU also stated that the Misings are encroaching and constructing shelters in Changlang District near Assam-Arunachal Pradesh boundary. The State government should issue eviction order and send them out immediately.
The AAPSU Peace making Committee had been sent to the area as well as the State government has been working to create peaceful atmosphere. The AAPSU has also learnt from reliable sources that many individuals have obtain Scheduled Tribe Certificates in name of indigenous people (Khampti and Adis).
The AAPSU will constitute a fact finding committee in this regard and also appeal the State government to formulate policy for the fact finding. Hawa Bagang President AAPSU appeal for peace in area and not take law in the hands.
