Sonowal Kachari Council team exposure visit to BTC

A 36 member delegation team from Sonowal Kachari Autonomous Council led by its chief executive member Dipuranjan Makrari and deputy chief Tankeswar Sonowal are on two day exposure visit to Bodoland Territorial Council(BTC) headquarter Kokrajhar since yesterday.
The team today visited various areas including Central Institute of Technology (CIT), Special Area Games Sports Authority of India complex, Bineswar Brahma Engineering College to see the developmental activities in BTC region. The team later visited BTC Assembly and Secretariat office and held a meeting with the BTC authority.
BTC deputy chief Kampa Borgoyary, BTC principal secretary Biren Chandra Phukany, BTC executive members -Dhaneswar Goyary, Rajib Kumar Brahma and senior officials were also present in the meeting.
Talking to Reporters, chief executive member of Sonowal Kachari Autonomous Council Dipuranjan Makrari said the exposure visit is to see the ground developmental working undertaken by the BTC.
Kampa Borgoyary dy chief of the BTC said that A 36 member delegation team from Sonowal Kachari Autonomous Council led by its chief executive member Dipuranjan Makrari and deputy chief Tankeswar Sonowal were reached on two day exposure visit to Bodoland Territorial Council(BTC) and we have joint meeting regarding BTC development works with Sonowal Kachari Autonomous Council.
He said that the delegates of the Sonowal Kachari Autonomous Council visited Central Institution of Technology (CIT), Bodoland University and etc.
Meanwhile, Kampa Borgoyary deputy chief of the BTC and who is EM of Education and Forest & Tourism department said that the many innocent Bodo youths were killed in the name of militants group NDFB(S) and maximum were fake encounter, the CRPF, IG was expose real one and also termed that the human rights violation is happening or occur in our BTC region.
