Arunachal Capital Itanagar is ready to host the annual Arunachal Tourism Awards-2017 today at IG Park organised by the department of Tourism. The main attraction will be Bollywood actor , owner of North-East United Football Club and brand ambassador of Arunachal Tourism John Abraham.
John will be a part of the occasion as the Special Guest. Other than adding to the glamour quotient John will also give away a few awards in various categories. This is John’s maiden visit to the City, a visit that’s been long overdue. John who is self-admittedly fascinated with most things about Northeast is looking forward to this visit.
A TV commercials on Arunachal Tourism featuring John Abraham will be launch in the Award ceremony , which will be telecast in few popular TV channels from January 31 onwards.
Arunachal Tourism Awards is an endeavour towards giving due recognition to the key players who are the driving force behind the booming tourism industry in the state and their efforts will be awarded in various categories throughout the event.
Alongside local artists such as fusion band ‘Omak Komut Collective’ and rock band ‘The Royal Flush’ and ‘Axis Band’ who will be performing & showcasing the abundance of local talent in our state, well known Bollywood singer-song writer Shruti Pathak will be a part of the evening’s line up and will headline event.
Governor of Arunachal Pradesh P.B. Acharya will grace the Arunachal Tourism Award function as Chief Guest while John Abraham will be the special guest. The Award function shall start at 4 PM on 31st January 2017 at Indira Gandhi Park Itanagar.
