Arunachal: Pakke Page Hornbill festival to be held in grand way

The Pakke Page Hornbill festival, one of the most important festival related with the preservation of Hornbill birds to be celebrated in grand way from January 18 to 20 in Seijosa.
Pakke-Kesang MLA Biyuram Wage while addressing the meeting held here at city hotel , lauding the committee for celebration of one of the important festival with lots of fund through awareness for preservation of the state bird ‘Hornbill’ said that the bird is farmer who helps in pollination of generation of flora and fauna in the environment. He stressed the need of young generation to come forward in preservation of other wildlife species and forest products for our existence.
PPHFC Chairman Takam Nabam while elaborating the event as one of the state festival and the state government have taken up as a calendar event which would be celebrated with great enthusiasm and sought support from all coroner including the media and youth of the state in preservation of Hornbill bird. While giving a clarion call to all the tourist to visit Seijosa which is in the vicinity of Pakke Tiger reserve forest one of the tourist destination of the East Kameng bordering Assam which is attached with rail and air link from Tezpur and Balipara.
Several committee members which include Pakke Wild life Sanctuary DFO Tana Tapi, 12-Pakke Kessang Intellectual Forum Chairman Er. Tayum Tok among other also discuses and share their views and suggestion for celebration of the festival.
