Arunachal : Capital police nab four Bike lifter

Capital police nabbed four bike lifters in its continuous efforts to solve many bike lifting cases of the Itanagar PS.
After receiving a specific information the police team comprised of ASI Kenter Tacha and Irbn & CRPF Jawans led by SDPO Itanagar Kamdam Sikom under the close supervision of Incharge SP Capital Tumme Amo, raided the house of one of the accused named David Paffa 19yrs at Donyi Colony Jullang and arrested 3 more accused namely Ropo Bagang 22yrs, Luk Dolo 19yrs and Akil @ Nadam Tayum 18.
Police have seized 5 Cell phones, 35 litres of Petrol(use in stolen bikes) , half KG of Ganja, Scissors, knife, Chillum(instrument use to smoke Cannabis) and various instruments from them, which they used to break or open the two wheeler lockers.
During interrogation they have confessed that they were involved in various vehicle lifting cases of Itanagar and Naharlagun area since Feb 2017 and they again came to Itanagar on 7th of this month to do the same thing they have done earlier but they got trapped this time in the hand of Capital Police.
A case has been registered vide Itanagar PS Case No. 108/18 u/s 379 against the arrested person. And through their revelation many more bike and scooty are likely to be recovered soon. A team of Police have been made to recover the stolen vehicles from various locations.
Speaking to Arunachal24 SDPO K. Sikom told that nowadays Capital Police are in their toes to nab bike lifters and even he requested all dwellers of the Capital to keep strict vigil on anti-social elements and cooperate Police to maintain peace and tranquility within the Capital.
