Supreme sacrifices made by BSF Jawans recognised by School Authorities

On the occasion of the Police Commemoration Day, High School Jaraitola of Dist-Cachar recognized supreme sacrifice made by the BSF Martyr Late L/NK Chinmoy Bhomik S/O Late Jayant Bhomik by renaming its science laboratory in the name of the Martyr. BSF Martyr L/Nk Chinmoy Bhomik studied in this school till 1980 and joined the BSF in 1985.
High School Jaraitola, recognized supreme sacrifice made by the BSF Martyr Chinmoy Bhomik by renaming its science laboratory in the name of the Martyr.Martyr L/NK Chinmoy Bhomik made the supreme sacrifice in the line of duty fighting valiantly against the militants in Kashmir in 1999. Santosh Bhomik brother of Martyr witnessed the occasion along with his family members and other prominent citizens of the area. Om Prakash Commandant 131 Bn BSF organized the event and made it memorable.
In the related series of events High school Brikrampur, also recognized the supreme sacrifice made by the BSF Martyr Constable Ravinder Sinha and renamed its computer Lab in the name of the Martyr as “Ravinder Hall”. Martyr Ravinder Sinha sacrificed his life in the line of duty on Indo-Bangladesh Border. Martyr Constable Ravinder Singh studied in this school and later joined BSF.

Govendra Sinha, Retd. Principal and father of the Martyr Constable Ravinder Sinha was also honoured by the BSF on the occasion. He expressed his gratitude to the BSF for making this event memorable.
The BSF has initiated this programme of making the public and school children aware of the supreme sacrifice made by the BSF Jawans in the service of the nation and honoring the schools where the Martyrs studied.
