The inspection continue till wee hours today, at all the nakas and check gate he directed the security personnel to work and maintain vigilance as well alert so that minor law and order are properly maintained without any disturbances.
Taram while said that it was an unfortunate incident which occurred in Directorate of Audit & Pension at Naharlagun recently. Such incident will not below down the law and order situation in capital complex. Government will not tolerate such incident.
When asked about lack of police and security personals at Hollongi, Gumto and even at Banderdewa Taram said that we have a review meeting yesterday wherein the matter was discussed. Though there are lack of manpower in police department, the GoAP have created post for strengthening of police department which is under progress Taram added.
When asked why all the vehicles are not been registered at the check post, Taram said he have also seen it and viewed it seriously and warned the officers for the negligence and action will be initiated which may lead to security lapse.
He further said that the law enforcement agency is maintain and taking up measures for safety and security of citizens of state and appeal one and all to cooperate.
On the other hand Itanagar Capital Complex Deputy Commissioner Prince Dhawan also carried out inspection in Nirjuli, Naharlagun and Itanagar and find the there are need for deployment of more security personnel in almost all check nakas and accordingly direction was also issued to City SP to provide security with all the EAC/CO of Itanagar/Naharlagun/Banderdewa who will move around in their jurisdiction and maintain extra vigilance in their respective area in maintaining security and law and order situation of capital complex.
DC further said that he have requested the City SP to provide at least one security personnel to at all vulnerable location like Directorate office building and Market areas and other specific location which are designated by administration.
