Deputy Chief Minister, Chowna Mein expressed deep shocked and sadness on the news of sudden demise of Minister of Health & Family Welfare, Jomde Kena who passed away at Guwahati yesterday night after a prolong illness.
In his Condolence Message to the bereaved family member, Chowna Mein stated that Kena had a charming and amiable personality and one of the able, efficient and performing Minister in the State Cabinet. During his short tenure as a Health Minister of the State, he has initiated measures to bring in reforms and improvement in the Health Delivery System. His contributions to the people of Arunachal Pradesh as Health Minister and Deputy Speaker of the State Legislative assembly will always be remember in days to come.
He further said, “his sudden demise has created a vacuum in the society and our State has lost a mature politician and I have lost a younger brother and a young friend with his demise”.
On behalf of his family members and the people of Namsai District, he conveyed his deepest condolences to the bereaved family members and relatives. He also prayed to Almighty God for the eternal peace of the departed soul and to grant enough strength to the bereaved family members to bear with the irreparable loss.
