Arunachal: Roads and bridges in Changlang are in poor condition

Roads and bridges in Changlang district of Arunachal Pradesh  are in poor condition.   DCC President appeal to administration for its restoration .

Changlang District congress Committee (DCC) in a representation to the Deputy Commissioner concern have appeal the district administration and department associated with public grievance like road, water supply, power, health,  and telephone communication  and others to take care of the genuine public grievance of the people of the district.

DCC President  Nyasam Jongsam while talking to Arunachal24,  said that he have submitted a memorandum to the district administration of Changlang district urged upon for immediate restoration of Changlang-Kuchep road which is the  life line for people of Simrang, Khengkhu, Rangkatu, Chokdok-I & II, Jungmaisung and Kuchep villages.

He said that massive landslide has completely washed away the road at several location , due to which people of those localities are suffering.

He said that the bridge over Tirap river need immediate maintenance & restoration as it connect Changlang assembly constituency, Rang Frah Govt. College, Khimiyang ADC HQs, Yanman Govt. SS, Kantang circle HQs and many other villages.

The dilapidated condition of the bridge has turned risky for commuters living on its left bank. The signboard installed on its one end itself says ‘ unsafe bridge’ that the bridge is unfit for use and any incident or accident would occurred in future if immediate repair is not taken up. Jongsam said.

Considering the above facts and genuine grievance of the people Jongsam have urge upon and requested the district administration to pass instruction to the engineering departments concerned to carry out restoration process at the earliest in the greater interest of the local people of the area and district.
