These ambulance will be placed at various Community Health Centre and Primary Health Centres across the state.
A visibly happy Parliamentary Secretary Health Phurpa Tsering said that with the flag off of 27 ambulances, the State Government’s objective of providing effective health care delivery on wheels to far flung villages and hamlets would be achieved.
While revealing the departments plans, Phurpa said that the state government is committed to give its citizens accessible, affordable, effective, accountable and reliable health care to all the citizens particularly to the poorer and vulnerable sections of population.
The flag off program was also attended by Special Secretary Health, NHM officials and staffs.
