DPO (NVBDCP) who is also the president of SEWA highlighted on the importance of preventive measures of mosquito borne disease during the monsoon season. He urged upon the villagers to use Long Lasting Insecticidal Nets (LLIN) day and night to prevent from getting Malaria, dengue and JE diseases. Furthermore, he explained about the health and hygiene particularly on Intensified Diarrhea Control Fortnight (IDCF) and spoke on the importance of hand washing and safe drinking water to prevent from diarrhea and dysentery and gastroenteritis which are very common in relief camp and post flood situation.
The medical camp was attended by SEWA team from Namsai and Lekang unit and ALISU president namely C.T Manlong, Sutlu Singphoo, Robin Borah, Nobeswar Saikia, Medical staff from Namsai and New Mohong.
