Recalling his school days, he said that whatever he is today is because of the teachings incurred by the teachers in the school where he learned to be disciplined himself due to the strictness of the rules and regulations. He exhorted the students to maintain discipline and not to waste time in amusement, as time once wasted will not come back, he added.
He further said that the Govt is providing facilities to facilitate the young talents in games & sports and art & cultural activities to groom them in a proper way citing the scopes in the field of games & sports and art & cultural activities like singing and dancing through which one can make their living these days. He urged the students to pursue their cherished goal with passion and with the spirit of professionalism in order to succeed in life.
He further stated to support the Don Bosco College in whatever possible way in its pursuit of providing quality education to the people of the State.
On the occasion, Father C C Jose, Rector, Don Bosco College and Father (Dr) Jose George, Principal, Don Bosco College also spoke on the occasion highlighting the main objective of the events.
Multicultural mega dance were presented and stalls of tribal cuisines of various tribes were put up in the festival by the students.
Among others MLA Doimukh, Tana Hali Tara, AIGP Kime Aya and Michael Kamki, Joint Secrertary, Sports & Youth Affairs were present on the occasion.
