Ringi Village ( Lower Siang )
In a tragic road accident in Lower Siang district today wherein 4 passengers died on spot while 5 sustained critically injuries on Gensi-Sibe Rite section near Ringi Village.
SP Lower Siang S Singpho informed Arunachal24 that total 9 person in board in ill fated Tata Sumo bearing registration No- AR 22 C 0022 which ply between Gensi and Sibe Rite meet accident around 35 kilometre from Gensi near Ringi Village occurred at around 8.30 this morning including the driver fell into gorge and fell more than 150 feet. 4 passengers dies on spot out of which 3 male including the driver of the vehicle.
Singpho said that the mostly the passengers were locals and they were identified by the villagers. The body have been kept at Gensi for Post mortem which will be conducted tomorrow. After post-mortem the body will be handed over to their relatives or family members.
While the critically injured person were first evacuated and brought to Likabali. Further out to 5 persons 2 have been shifted to capital complex for further treatment.
He however said detail investigation is on to ascertain the exact cause of the accident and other details is awaited.
