One person died and one inured in two different road accident occurred in Itanagar capital complex.
One Auto driver died on the spot when the Auto( AR 01 H 2392), he was driving head on collision with a Trekker(AR 01 D, 7986) on NH-415 near D sector, Tennis court at around 8 :30 pm this evening. While another youth seriously injured in a collision involving a scooty and four wheeler car on VIP road, Niti Vihar on few hours before the first accident.
The deceased has been identified as Sugrim Naku, a native of district- Siwan, Bihar and was currently residing at Gandhi market.
The driver of trekker has been detained at police station, Itanagar for further interrogation, informed SP, S Singh Khalsi adding that a case has also been registered vide no 21/18, u/s- 279 , 304 (A).
The police took the deceased’s to mortuary for post-mortem and body will be handed over to family tomorrow after all process, the SP added.
The injured youth has also been referred to R.K Mission hospital for further Treatment and his condition is stated to be stable,” according to Itanagar police station source.
The police seized the vehicles under their custody and probe is launched.
