Education and Health Our Prime Agenda- Khandu

Social sector like Education and Health will be the prime agenda of Khandu’s Government. This decision has been taken in the first meeting of newly constituted cabinet which was presided by Chief Minister Pema Khandu. The Cabinet has unanimously decided to accord a holistic approach to streamline these prime sectors for welfare of the people.
The Cabinet directed the departments of health and education to prepare holistic proposals which fill all gaps and live up to people’s aspirations for implementation by the Government.
“Let us make Arunachal Pradesh a cent percent literate and healthy state” the Cabinet resolved.
In this regard the Cabinet approved for creation of posts for establishment of office of the deputy Director of School Education in Longding and Capital Complex. It further directed the department to submit proposal for creation of DDSE Office in all the newly created districts in the state.
The Cabinet also gave a positive nod to “Arunachal Pradesh Anatomy bill” to be tabled in the ensuing assembly session. While the state is soon to see new Medical College and Homeopathy Colleges, this decision of the cabinet will prove to be a big step forward in terms of medical education in the state.
Appreciating the hard work put in by the drivers, the state Cabinet approved enhancement of grade pay of drivers from the existing Rs. 1900 to Rs. 2400. The Cabinet further cleared many cases of pay anomalies in various departments that were lying pending for long.
