The 15th round of ‘Sarkar Aapke Dwar’ held at Thingbu one of the oldest circle Headquarters of Tawang .

The 15th round of ‘Sarkar Aapke Dwar’ and ‘Jan sunwai camp’ was conducted at Thingbu one of the oldest circle Headquarters of Tawang district on 30th nov 2018.
DC Tawang Sang Phuntsok inaugurated the camp and appealed the villagers to avail the benefits of SAD camps and discuss with him and other concerned HODs regarding any govt scheme and its implementation in their village. He also asked the villagers to put forward any other grievances being faced by them.
During jan Sunwai sammelan EX ASM Thingbu , Thupten Genden speaking on behalf of the villagers said the most important need for their village at present is porter tracks and log bridges to various grazing grounds for Brokpas, an Atta Chakki for village since the existing traditional flour mill has been not functioning properly, Poly houses for agricultural purpose, and reduction of transportation fare.
Thupten who is also the Chairman of School management committee of Thingbu residential school appreciated the functioning of school and its teachers.
DC Tawang immediately giving the solution to demands placed by villagers on the spot in consultation with other officers concerned sanctioned an amount of Rupees Three lakhs for the purpose requested by villagers, and told the villagers to immediately start the work and requested them to maintain quality of work. He also instructed the concerned dept to work out a plan to install solar lamps and street lights for the village residential school.
The DC alongwith ADC Jang PD Tawang and other officers inspected the school and its hostel, under construction multipurpose hall other under construction staff quarters, village shrine, Circle officers office and surroundings of village.
Hundreds of Villagers from Mago and Thingbu village were benefitted through this camp, the personnels from 12th Batallion of NDRF presented a demo on precautions to be taken during calamities .
