Arunachal Leaders concern over racial discrimination with Arunachalees

Expressing deep concern over repeated racial discrimination to which Govin Niji fell prey, APCC president Takam Sanjoy today spoke to Himachal Pradesh PCC president Sukhbinder Singh over telephone and urged him to take all possible steps to ensure safety & security of all NE people either working or studying in their state having uncanny similarities with Arunachal Pradesh.

 “They fall prey to such atrocities because of their simplicity and straight forwardness, their inborn qualities, I, therefore, request you to extend all possible help including medical to the victim for his early recovery top resume studies,” he said.

He also requested him to convey his plea to chief minister Virbhadra Singh and social Welfare, Child Development & Empowerment Minister Dhani Ram Shandil, a former AICC general secretary.

National People’s Party Kakab Tacho and president general secretary Nima Sange taking exception to the incident said that it is high time for mainland Indians to treat Arunachalees with respect and love as they are the sentinels of Indo-China frontier.

Arunachal Pradesh Literary Society  president Y D Thongchi pitched in to decry the attack as unforgivable and advocated that those guilty should be taken to task to send a louder message “India is one nation, one people’.
