Dhruv sang praises for the women of the country – both rural & urban for coming such a long way & breaking boundaries by taking the wheel & making their own decision be it their voting rights, careers & fighting any other oppression. He touched upon the various current sensitive issues like the revocation of Article 370 & the 35(A) in J&K, the Unnao Rape case, the demise of Coffee King – V.G Siddhartha & isolation of minorities in India. An invigorating Q & A session ensued with students and Dhruv deftly addressed them.
Having spoken fondly about his family lineage he also stated that it would be incredibly challenging for him to create his own individual identity over his grandfather – Ved Prakash Goyal & his father – Piyush Goyal; two great iconic political personas. Like his father, he hopes to work for the ruling government in future, specifically with a focus on economic policy, decision making & service to the nation.
