Arunachal: DC inaugurates Cold Chain Room at Zonal Hospital in Tezu

Adding yet another essentials facilities at Zonal Hospital, Prince Dhawan, DC Lohit unveiled District Cold Chain Room here today in the presence of Dr S Chai Pul DMO, Doctors and Para – medic staffs of the Hospital.
“Special requirement of Cold chain for Hospitals which is extensively used in hospitals & research labs to store Blood samples, Life saving drugs & serum samples, It was long felt demand with this we can more efficiently store vaccines and other required materials to deliver better health care services to the patient, says the DMO.
Later the DC inspected the only Drug – De-addiction and Rehabilitation Centre at the premises of the Hospital. He also distributed fruits and interacted with the patients.
“Benefit of Rehabs should be availed, the medical is providing free services and your participation could bring lot of change to inspire other addicts to follow”, he suggests.
Meanwhile, Dr S Towang SMO and caretaker of Rehabs also highlighted immense benefit of Rehabs to the opium and other drugs addicts of Lohit, Anjaw, Namsai and Lower Dibang Valley.
