While advocating for introduction of contract farming in the state, he said that Namsai district which has a large land bank ought to tour it into farms for economic sustainability. Mein said that the BJP district office needs to be constructed and that he would initiate for the same. He also informed that he would be extending his full support for smooth conduct of the proposed State Executive Meeting of BJP Yuva Morcha at Namsai.
Chow Tewa Mein, Parliamentary Secretary cum MLA 46-Chongkham AC in his address commended the party workers for enthusiastically building the party in the district and said that all should work collectively to reap the benefits from the BJP lead government’s development initiatives. He further said that BJP was a party where everyone can communicate referring to the accessibility of party leaders and that the state was receiving maximum funding ubder the present dispensation.
Chow Zingnu Namchoom, Parliamentary Secretary cum MLA 47-Namsai AC suggested for holding the party meeting at various locations in the district so that the call of BJP reaches everywhere.
Doni Nich, Zilla Prabhari also spoke and informed that the meetings itself was a training for members in the BJP party. He gave a brief outline history of the BJP.
Earlier two resolutions which were passed in the National Executive Meeting held at Bhubhaneswar were introduced and passed. The Mandal Presidents of the three assembly constituencies of the district submitted their upto date reports of 2017 to the district president Chow Sujana Namchoom.
