All Nyishi Students Union (ANSU)  President Toko Takam while inaugurating a friendly volleyball match at Pachin Hapa on August 15 emphasis upon sports as tool for making friendship, communal harmony integrity among the youths for nation development.

The volleyball match organised and sponsored by young entrepreneur Likha Maj on occasion of celebration Independence day for making unity among people of Ziro II are of Lower Subansiri district for promotion of sports and other activities.

Addressing the gathering Takam said that playing games and sports should not have any political colour on the parts of people as games and ports bring people closed and help in maintain communal harmony and unity, at the same time playing games and sport support to make a healthy body and sound mind. He appeal the players to maintain team spirit while playing any games and sports.

Organiser Likha Maj while said that it should be our endeavours to promote all types of games and sport among the youths who are future of tomorrow who could bring laurel for our state and country,

He assured the volleyball tournament for next three years and assured all support in future for promotion of games and sport in Ziro II area.

On request of locals present on the occasion for renovation of few bridge in the area Maj assures to renovate and repair two nos of bridge of which one on river Polio and on pakh river on Deed-Pistana road within soon.

All total 11 teams participated,  Ziro II College Coordination Committee (ZCCC)  remain winner while Young Entrepreneur become 1st runners up and Papu Tigers become 2nd runners up who went away with cash prize of 50.000/- 30.000/-20.000/- with trophy and medals respectively. The prizes were given away by Likah Maj senior leaders in presence of huge gathering of sports lovers and locals of Yachuli assembly constituency.
