KKFC wins 23rd Vishwakarma running football tournament

The KKFC Gohpur wins the 23rd Vishwakarma running football tournament here today defeating love bird football club by a margin of 3/1 in penalty shot out.
Addressing the huge gathering of sports lovers at KV-II playground Arunachal Pradesh former Chief Minister Nabam Tuki said that in the modern world now people of no time to give away their time for health.
Football is now being played almost in all the country the world and liked by all. Football have brought craze among the youths. The sports have also provided carrier option among the players so those who play sports need to play for brining name and fame for state, country.
Appealing the players to maintain team spirit and brotherhood Tuki said that winning or loosing is a phenomena and nothing to worry and requested then to play well and remain health conscious.
Chimpu Lion Club President cum Organising committee Chairman K K Kanjal among other address the gathering.
Former Home Minister and Nacho MLA Tanga Byaling attended as guest of honour while State Pollution Control Board Chairman Techi Tagi Tara attended as special guest.
KV-II Principal GD Meena, IMC Councillor Tatung Tania, AGYAW-2 President Sorang Talo, UAAEA President Tarh Gambo among other were present on the occasion.
The tournament organised by Chimpu based Lion Club. All total 24 team participated the tournament which was kick off on September 22 by state BJP President Tapir Gao and G. Doke.

The winner went away with a trophy and cash award of 80,000 while the runners team received a trophy and a cash award of 40,000/= third prize was with a trophy and cash award of 20,000/- which was won by Seke Boys Football Club, Ganga.
All the prizes were given away by the chief guest.
