Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein graced the Republic Day celebration at Namsai on Friday. He unfurled the tricolour amidst jubilation and much fanfare. He also inspected the parade and took the guard of honour. The celebrations were attended by a host of people, including, MLA Namsai Chow Zingnu Namchoom and government official.
Republic Day was also celebrated with great exuberance at Chongkham, Piyong, Lathao and Lekang.
Mein in his address highlighted the initiatives and achievement of the state government in various sectors like literacy, connectivity, sports, human resource, all round development and also gave credit to the union government in helping the state to move ahead.
While extending his warm greetings to the people of Namsai, he said “Sabka Sath Sabka Vikash” is the mantra of the Govt. We are witnessing a transformational change in governance and public welfare that determines the future course of development of the nation. Under the dynamic leadership of Hon’ble Prime Minister, Sri Norendra Modiji, our Government is committed for ensuring Good governance at all levels, Mein added.
He said that under the dynamic leadership of Chief Minister Pema Khandu, the state has witnessed an unprecedented growth trajectory.
In his address he mentioned about the achievement of the State Government in various sectors .
