Brainstorming Session for My Village My Development

One day District level brainstorming session and three days training Programme (from 19th to 20th December) under My Village My development plan began in the Anchal Samity Hall on Monday. While inaugurating the programme as Chief Guest, Deputy Commissioner, Deepak Sindhe (IAS) called upon PRI members and HoDs for proper co-ordination and monitoring of any developmental Schemes undertake in the district. He emphasized on pragmatic approach in any developmental plan and underscores the importance PRI member’s participation in every development activity of village.
Tomar Baki, Master Trainer (SIRD) highlighted the Participatory Planning Process in his power point presentation and informed that for understanding the Community in a better way the BPT facilitates Participatory Processes of Learning about the Community and comes to know about the socio-economic as well as physical environment of the community.
He also informed that participatory planning initiates sharing with Gram Panchayats Level PRI Functionaries and other stakeholder representatives at the Gram Panchayats ,Community Interactions for Estimating Needs, Demand for Employment and Plan for Asset Creation, finalisation and ratification of Prioritised List of Works etc.
The meeting was attended by Deputy Director (SIRD), Likha Kiran Kabak, Rakesh Tacho, CO, Shri Sanjay Taram, CO, Olik Jomang, EO, Master trainers from SIRD, HoDs and PRI members of the district.
