He lauded the Democratic set up of the Adi society terming it as one of the most democratic amongst the tribes especially in matters of local Justice delivery system and social structure. He further said, “being one of the largest tribes in our state, Adi brothers and sisters have a moral duty and responsibility not only in preserving the traditions and culture but also in fostering unity and to take the state forward in all fields”.While ciing that the state is blessed with abundant natural resources including hydropower and minerals, he stressed to harness these potentials to the fullest.
He informed that govt has taken many reformative measures in the department of finance for smooth functioning of the line departments as well as for the public. He also said that various financial innovative policies for the future course of development are being initiated by the govt.
He also highlighted about the innovative measures taken by the govt in Information Technology Sectors and informed that the steps are taken by the govt to digitalize and transforming to e-governance for easy and simplified governance. He said that till date three departments viz., I T Department, the Department of Personnel and Administrative Reforms has been digitized and the govt is comtemplating to digitized other departments in phase wise manner to make electronic paperless office.
He also informed about the efforts of the govt to rope in services of Corporate Sectors in social sectors development of the state. He said that the govt is putting sincere efforts to generate state’s own resources and to attract private investment. He informed that govt is constituting Arunachal Pradesh Investment Advisory Council wherein best brains from industry shall be engaged to advice the state govt in leveraging investment in our state.
He appealed to the people to have welcoming attitude and create conducive atmosphere for the investors to come and make them felt secure and invest in our state. Speaking on the occasion, Alo Libang, Deputy Speaker also called for preservation of traditional cultures and customs in its original form by maintaining original ethos and values.Kaling Moyong, MLA Pasighat cum Chairman and Kaling Dai, ZPC cum Vice Chairman, Celebration Committee also spoke on the occasion.
Celebrities, Monali Thakur, Bollywood Playback Singer and Meiyang Chang, Singer & Stage Performer enthralled the audience with their sizzling performance.
Earlier, Deputy Chief Minister also visited ELAM Industry, the Arunachal’s first Mechanized Textile Unit located at Pasighat Industrial Estate, 2 mile from the town. He was impressed by the wide variety of tribal and other garments from silk, cotton, acrylic, and other yarn being manufactured in the centre. He assured support from the govt and suggested to enlarge the industry.
Among others Ninong Ering, MP(Lok Sabha), P D Sona, MLA cum Govt Spokesperson, MLAs Zingnu Namchoom, Paknga Bage, Olom Panyang, Kento Rina and former minister Bosiram Siram, Kaling Doruk, Chief Councillor, PMC, Isha Khosla, DC and Pranav Tayal, SP were also present on the occasion.
