Namsai- Dy CM Chowna Mein Meets injured police personnel

The Dy CM Chowna Mein, met the two injured police personnel, Sub Inspector Dumgandu Singpho and Head constable Inden Young Singpho at Aditya Hospital to enquire on their health today. The two police personnel were critically injured on the line of duty when they were in a routine raid to nab drug peddler at Silatoo Miri village under Lekang Circle on Sept 10 last.
Taking stock of the healthcare facilities being provided to the injured, DCM instructed the concerned for ensuring better treatment for their early recovery. SI Singpho narrated the whole incident to the Deputy Chief Minister in presence of MLA Namsai Chow Zingnu Namchoom. Head Constable was still admitted in ICU and doctors were providing round the clock services.
Interacting with the family members of the police personnel, DCM assured that the government will provide all support for the treatment of the injured. The DCM also provided financial assistance from his own source as an immediate relief to family members for their better treatment and purchasing medicines.
