Students Collecting Donation for Wakka Fire Victims

All Changlang district student’s union at changlang district headquarter are engaged in collecting donations spree for the fire victims of Wakka village in Longding district where 57 houses in total gutted into ashes and rendered hundreds homeless besides one aged woman who lost her life.
According to the sources, the Wakka village has met this kind of incidents many times before besides Lazu circles. The possible reasons that can be held responsible for such fire mishap are due to construction of houses in close proximity from one after another and may be due to unattended loose fittings of electrical wirings which pose danger of short circuits sometimes.
The Student unions across Arunachal pradesh are collecting a donations for the fire victims of Wakka village which we believed will reach the victims without any being siphoned on the halfway and one such noble jobs have been undertaken by the ACDSU, Changlang district which is one of the ligaments of Apex student body of the state.
As a matter of fact, no amount of generosity can substitute the loses worth crores where artefacts and Antique materials are included yet to some extent the victims would get redeemed. At the sametime, not only the students body should be engaged in relief works but also the government agencies should come forward with whatever possible as Kinsmen redeemer from the state exchequer under the ambit of Disaster management plan.
