Itanagar: Arunachal joins PM Modi’s Direct Samwad
PM Modi had a Direct Samvaad program with frontline functionaries of Health dept, like Anganwadi Workers, ASHA, ANM etc.

The Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi had a Direct Samvaad program with frontline functionaries of the Department of Women & Child Development and the Department of Health & Family Welfare like Anganwadi Workers, ASHA, ANM and Supervisors through Video Conference across India.
All the districts and blocks of Arunachal Pradesh participated through webcasting and Live Television shows.
At the state level, Directorate of Women & Child Development organised webcasting at Dorjee Khandu State Convention Centre, Itanagar.
Anganwadi Workers, Helpers, and Supervisors of Papumpare attended the program. Speaking on the occasion Commissioner (WCD) Gamli Padu, briefed about the ongoing Rashtriya Poshan Maah( National Nutrition Month) in particular and Poshan Abhiyaan in general.
Director WCD Smt.T.P.Loyi said that it is great opportunity for the all participants to learn from the success stories from other states and requested functionaries to inculcate those practices in their respective Anganwadi Centres.
Arunachal Pradesh has 6225 Anganwadi Workers , 6225 Anganwadi Helpers under 98 ICDS ICDS projects and 3862 ASHAs and 1049 ANMs.
In the State and Districts, National Informatics Centre (NIC) provided the webcasting facilities. Along with frontline workers DDs(ICDS), DMOs, MOs, and CDPOs attended the Direct Samvad program
