Itanagar: APWWS demand constitution of APSCW within a month
The team of APWWS meet the Minister Nabam Rebia and placed their pending demand for constitution of the APSCW within One month.

The team of Arunachal Pradesh Women Welfare Society meet the Minister Social Justice Empowerment & Tribal Affairs, Nabam Rebia and placed their pending demand for constitution of the Arunachal Pradesh State Commission for Women (APSCW) within One month or threatened to take democratic movement.
APWWS President Depti Bengia Tadar who led the team said that the team have reiterated their demand for reconstitution of the commission within this month. She inform that due to defunct and arbitrary appointment of the commission’s Chairman and other members many victims are suffering as their cases are pending. And such delay in reconstitution of APSCW cast doubt about commitment towards ‘ sabka saath sabka vikas’. The APPWWS alleged that it is more than Eight month there have been hardly any.
APWWS President Depti Bengia Tadar inform that the Minister have responded positively and listen to the demand and the problems being faced by the APWWS and APSCW.
Minister have inform the team that the constitution of APSCW file have already been cleared from his end and assured that new commission body shall be appointed from the empanelled list prepared by the proceeding commission, informed Bengia.
A search committee headed by chief secretary has been constituted and the committee is doing its works. Bengia added.
