Congress strengthened in Arunachal with joining of Two NPP MLA and two former Minister .

The two sitting legislators of National People’s Party (NPP) Tapang Taloh of 35-Pangin Assembly constituency of Siang district and Rajesh Tacho of 41-Anini Assembly constituency of Dibang Valley district on Thursday re-joined Congress party. Former Ministers Lichi Legi, Komoli Mossang and senior BJP leader Eri Tayu also joined Congress on the occasion.
The Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee (APCC) President Takam Sanjoy has termed their joining as sign of Congress revival in the state. He also claimed that many more leaders will join party in days to come. Today joining will further strengthen the party in the State
Further he came down hard on state BJP leaders headed by Chief Minister Pema Khandu for keeping mum over controversial citizenship amendment bill and said people of state will never accept this bill.
He also informed that Congress will launch state wide movement against this bill.
The joining programme to Indian National Congress party was held today at Rajiv Gandhi Bhawan, Itanagar, in presence of AICC General Secretary and lncharge Arunachal Pradesh Luizinho Faleiro, AICC Secretary lncharge Arunachal Pradesh Zenith Sangma, Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee President Takam Sanjoy, CLP Leader Takam Pario, MLA Er. Markio Tado and rank and file of APCC.
Apart of two MLA and two former Minister the former BJP district President of Dibang Valley Bailo Mele# prominent youth leader Nokchai Boham along with his 17 supporters from 58-Kanubari
While joining, they expressed their full confidence in the leadership of AICC President Rahul Gandhi at national level and APCC President Takam Sanjoy and CLP leader Takam Pario in state.
With today joining the congress party now have five MLA with Takam Pario, Nabam Tuki, Markio Tado, Rajesh Tacho and Tapang Taloh.
Since hardly 100 days left for the general election and simultaneous election in state the home coming, re-joining, resignation and merger will be able to witness in the political party and the political activities is gearing up.
