Bomdila- Nyetridow festival of Aka community begins

The Nyetridow festival of Aka (Hrusso) community goes a grading start with various cultural performances which mesmerised the audience and huge gathering.
Addressing the inauguration function Parliamentary Secretary PHE & Water Supply and local MLA Kumsi Sidisow said that every festival gives us a meaning for unification among the clan members and get together among all the members of that community. The festival provide us a platform for celebration with a message of unity and brotherhood and communal harmony among the member of the community with other fellow citizens of the area. He appeal the people to stand united and preserve the cultural heritage of the community and society as whole.
Guest of Honour West Kameng Deputy Commissioner Dr. Sonal Swaroop was quite happy with the cultural performances and said that united we stand divided we fall and said that it is the time for all the people to unite with each other and remain like a family.
The more we unite will support the administration for the better development of the area and district as a whole. She thanks the organising committee and indigenous people to maintain traditional value and attire which are so beautiful which signify the identity of the community.
Aka Elite Society President Gobardhan Nimasow, Organising Committee Chairman Tsang Dorjee Sidisow, Paul Sidisow among other address the gathering while Lhamu Dususow read out the mythology of the Aka Community and the festival.
Thrizino ADC Nyoda Nyori and HODs, various department of the area and community leaders of the Aka Community were present on the occasion.
The festival which inaugurated on November 10 shall continue till 15 which is expected to the graced by Chief Minister Pema Khandu and Union Minister of state for Home Kiren Rijiju and others
