Talking to Arunachal24 on TAH issue, Ribia also accused present MLA Tage Taki for the total failure in his administration in delivering justice to genuine land affected people of the district and Ziro in particular.
Ribia attend the meeting called by MLA Tage Taki on 30th July, 2018 at Abotani Hall as a land affected person or as victim of TAH land compensation.
Meanwhile, at present the TAH Re-Verification process is going on in full swing from Potin to Bopi stretch by the fact finding team headed by Deputy Commissioner, Lower Siang District AK Singh and Deputy Commissioner, Lower Subansiri district Chukhu Takar and their team of officials .
“I personally visited the site to gain firsthand knowledge about ground realities of the most emotive and sensitive issues in regards to TAH on the first week of this month”, Ribia informed.
“It’s good to see our people’s response in the re-verification process of Trans Arunachal Highway in Ziro -Hapoli Valley. I have requested the Fact Finding Committee to deliver justice to genuine land affected people as per norms impartially with complete transparency and to avoid further complications in future”, he added further.
It must be mentioned here that The most ambitious project of the state, the Trans Arunachal Highway (TAH) corridors from West to east Arunachal Pradesh has been delayed for more than a decade due to various reasons. There is unrest among common people out of frustration for the incompletion of the said dream project. The project turned was mired by SCAM and money meant for genuine land affected people have been siphoned off by few individuals, becoming a further cause for delay.
