FIR lodged at Pasighat and Roing for creating panic among the citizens by circulating fake messages in social media and whatsApp group regarding NIPAH Virus.

Two separate FIR have been field at Pasighat and Roing police stations against the spreading of fake message in social media regarding inconnection with NIPAH Virus. District Medical Officer (DMO) Dr. Tatan have filed a FIR at Roing Police station. he mentioned in his FIR ” that the message circulating is creating panic among the citizens is very much fake and requested the police to punish the person generating such message and circulating in social media and among the public”.
It must be mention here that A fake message which have been circulating in the social site of WhatsApp group wherein it is mentioned that the many people have been admitted in Pasighat and Roing district Hospital respectively with effected of NIPAH virus, which is creating panic among the citizens of Pasighat and Roing township.
Meanwhile wide Circulation of Fake messages on social media sites in WhatsApp, Facebook regarding the Nipah Virus arrived in Pasighat is disrupting the common masses.
Joint Director of Training and Research, Department of Health Dr.D.Raina of Bakin Pertin General Hospital, Pasighat said that Seeing the seriousness of the issue, he clearly stated that from where this message is originated should be taken to task personally, it is totally a fake message in public domain without any authentication by authoriies.
He appeal the administration and police to take note of it and necessary action as per law may be initiated for spreading such fake messages in the public domain.
