Arunachal: Curtain raiser of 32nd Statehood Day and 1st Officers and Official Idol

Curtain Raiser of the 32nd Statehood and 1st ever Officers and Official Idol organized by the District Administration, Capital Complex was inaugurated at IG Park, Itanagar today.
“Music is an art which matures with time”, said Jarkar Gamlin, Minister Tourism. But many artist after joining service do not get time to pursue their art due to their busy life. This event will not only provide them a break from their busy schedule but give chance to showcase their hidden talents.
This will also provide an opportunity to all of them to interact with other officers of the state. They should continue to pursue their passion and entertain the public, said the Minister.
Gamlin appreciated the initiatives of PD Sona Parliamentry Secy, Tourism and Prince Dhawan DC, Capital Complex for organizing such event.
The chief minister Pema Khandu, who also joined the program, hoped that the event will be a regular event in future and will be a path breaker as the officers and officials will have a platform to showcase their talents.
Prince Dhawan, DC, Capital Complex , while welcoming all informed that the program will not only showcase the hidden talents but will be a celebration of local talents. This is the festival of the state so all the local talents and the districts are being involved in the celebration. The beauty of the festivals of Arunachal is that it draws everyone to it and the memories linger on.
PD Sona, Parliamentary Secy, Ms. Dasanglu Pul, MLA,Taba Yall Nabam and Jomnya Siram, both renowned singers consisted of the panel of judges.
Ten contestants each from officers and officials took part in the final round.
