Portfolios Allocated to newly inducted ministers

On recommendations of Chief Minister Pema Khandu Governor V Shanmuganathan has allocated portfolios to the newly inducted Cabinet Ministers on Monday.
Bamang Felix will be the new PHED Minister while Alo Libang has been given the Panchayati Raj and Rural Development portfolio. Dr Mahesh Chai will look after Veterinary, Animal Husbandry and Dairy Development as well as Art and Culture as Minister in-charge.
Meanwhile, in a minor change Tamiyo Taga will hold additional charges of Power (Electrical) to his already allotted portfolios of Industries, Textiles and Handicrafts. The department of Cooperation held earlier by Taga will now be held by the Chief Minister.
