Arunachal: Rebia announces 25 lakh for construction of Medical barrack at Poma
Minister of Land Management, and MLA of Doimukh Constituency Nabam Rebia announced Rs.25 Lakhs under SIDF for construction of Medical barrack at Poma .

Minister of Land Management, SJETA, Women and Child Development and Department of Tribal Affairs and also the local MLA of 14-Doimukh Constituency Nabam Rebia called upon the general people of Sangdupota to support development activities and not to create hindrance in the process of development.
Addressing the gathering at a development meeting organised by Youth and former PRI members and senior members of society at here today, Rebia called upon the people to maintain development friendly atmosphere the development not only improves the importance of the place but also bring in manifold changes in socio-economic status of the people. Hence people should embrace the development projects coming in the area with open arms.
Highlighting on various ongoing developmental projects like NIT, Women College, NIF&TV, EDI, Cantonment area for Army and people need to understand the importance of these developmental activities that are taking place in the area.
Appreciating the work of Bamboo Mission Project at Bamboo Processing Unit, at Poma, Rebia instructed Techi Ana, Ex-ASM Chairperson and Chairman, Bamboo Processing Unit, Poma to prepare a proposal and submit it to Govt to improve Bamboo Mission Project and to create more employment for local unemployed youths.
Showing his concern on the recent CBSE result of the state Rebia also urged the public and youths of the area to give their support in improving the education scenario as well as express the importance of education to their children.
Meanwhile responding to six point memorandum of Development Committee pertaining to construction of approach road from PWD road (Rillo Box) to Women College and Wildlife Forest Check Gate 4KM, construction of medical building with maternity ward for Poma PHC, up gradation of Govt Middle School, Poma into Secondary School, flood protection work for Govt Middle School, Poma and Moin Happa village, construction of public gallery and extension of general play ground, up gradation of present Poma Community hall into multipurpose hall, he assured to look into their demand in one by one according to feasibility and announced Rs.25 Lakhs under SIDF for construction of Medical barrack. He also visited site of Women College and PHC, Poma and distributed PP items to GBs and Committee members of development meeting from District Administration.
Papum Pare Deputy Commissioner Incharge Tabang Bodung, SDO while appealed the people to give due importance to education, health and cooperate the administration in maintaining law and order in the area.
While referring in absence of Panchayati Raj system at present he requested the GB to play a vital role in maintaining all day to day affairs and support the administration in all developmental matters and also not to indulge in political party affairs and indulge election campaign etc during election.
Former ZPM Gollo Takam, HGB T.Matcha, Tam Senkhio, former ASM Techi Ana, also spoke on the occasion and expressed gratitude to the minister for bringing in many developmental projects in the area. Head of Departments, Public leaders, GBs and general public, youths among others were present on the occasion.
